Ginger Tea

Juice 1 large ginger root and 2 lemons, add 1-2 tablespoons of this mixture to a mug of hot water, add some manuka honey to taste. Store the juice concentrate in the fridge for up to 1 day. It can also be made with cold water as an iced tea. We call this “Ginger Tea”.

This is a great remedy for sore throat, nausea and food poisoning, especially if sipped throughout the day. Lemon and ginger both have antibacterial properties and the acid in the lemon can help to kill off h.pylori bacteria, a common organism that lives in the stomach and is known to cause ulcers, gastritis, and stomach cancer.
